Day of Hope 2015 – CRF Family Conference
We shared time, stories and built more memories with our cystinosis families at the sixth Annual CRF Day of Hope Cystinosis Family Conference. We were blessed and excited that we once again came together as families to support each other and to celebrate the research progress we have collectively funded and the strong sense of community we have forged throughout the years.
We had more than 40 families and a record number of people attending this year. For those who weren’t able to attend this year, we will be posting conference photos to Facebook to share with your family and friends and the entire cystinosis community. We look forward to seeing you all again next year and hope new families will join us on the road to the cure. Mark your calendars for our 2016 conference April 7 – April 9, 2016.
This is a time of great excitement for the cystinosis community. Researchers from around the world continue to make remarkable progress – their successes and new discoveries have brought us closer to finding a cure for cystinosis. Our brilliant team of researchers has published 58 articles in prestigious journals. CRF’s dedication to finding a cure has resulted in a dynamic cycle of research that has yielded new discoveries about cystinosis and new treatments. To date, CRF has committed and issued over $29 million in multi-year research grants making us the largest fund provider of cystinosis research in the world! We are blazing this path together, united as a community and focused on finding better treatments and a cure.
