Brooke is a vibrant girl full of life, laughter and curiosity; she loves school, her family and friends, and her cat Nicky.  People fall in love at first sight with her and she will talk your ear off if given the chance.

Although Brooke looks like a normal girl her age, she fights a daily war with cystinosis.  She has to take dozens of doses of doses of various medications each day along with hourly eye drops, which has not gotten easier as she’s gotten older.  She regularly sees a nephrologist, endocrinologist and ophthalmologist.  With each passing day, accomplishment, or milestone she achieves, cystinosis and the uncertainty it brings for our future is always lurking in our minds.  Therefore, we have chosen to focus our energy on fundraising for the Cystinosis Research Foundation (CRF). 

Brooke is a fighter and we truly believe that her feisty nature will serve her well in her fight against cystinosis.  And while she hasn’t let the disease slow her down, we wish more than anything that cystinosis was a thing of her past.  With your continued support and donations in Brooke’s honor to CRF, we are closer than ever to realizing our dream of a cure for Brooke!
